Greetings everyone,

As the Director of the Department of Public Social Services, I understand the vital impact that a loving home has in transforming the life of a child. We all know that today’s children are our hope for the future, which is why we are dedicated to connecting children in need of a “forever family”. We want all children to have the love and support of a family to help them grow, to nurture their dreams and ultimately, to prepare them to be productive members of our community. We can each do our part to make sure that no child is forgotten in “the system.” As caring adults with room in your heart and home, consider adoption or foster care.

Sincerely, Susan von Zabern, DPSS Director
